My Battle Vest (part 2)

Tonight on the hard fast heavy show we had our second segment of "My Battle Vest" featuring an interview about vests with Johnny Hellkatze, a veteran vestie & lead guitarist for Wellington Metal/Hellcore band Sehkt.
If anything, he affirmed the fact that this is my own gear & it's up to me what I do with it. Though the point of the segment, as a previously non-vested metaller, is to honour the concept and not take the piss.

Beastwars new album up to pre-order, oh wait packages already sold out

Wellington band of riff-tasticness, Beastwars, have announced their upcoming album, "Blood Becomes Fire" will be release on the 19-20th of April, with wicked-cool track titles like "Tower of Skulls", "Shadow King" and um, "Ruins".

Old fashioned CD's are available via jbhifi, whether they'll be instore or not is another question..

What I want is a shirt, which if you get the pre-order bundle, comes with a digital copy of the album, so guys don't sell out of the larger sizes before I can get to 'em, ok?

West of Hell on the Hard Fast & heavy show

Chris "the Heathen" Valagao was up with West of Hell on the hard fast heavy show!! (Feb 25th)

The Heathen's worked a lot with Devin Townsend, even took three quarters of SYL to bring forth Zimmers Hole's last album.

Anyone who's listened to the show over the last 6 years knows I'm a huge fan of Devin Townsend's work and of the last Zimmers Hole album, so having him randomly turn up was a most excellent surprise.
